The suitcase
Shell, handle, wheels, zips and lock.
100% polycarbonate. It is thinner and lighter than ABS blends, and it flexes to absorb knocks instead of cracking, bearing roughly three times the pressure.
Yes. Every suitcase has a TSA-approved combination lock, so airport security can inspect it without cutting the lock, and you never need a key.
The handle is a wide double-bar in 0.8 mm double-thick aluminium alloy that tucks tight against the shell, so the interior keeps more of its space. The YKK zips use ten rubber-coated strands instead of the usual four.
Smooth double spinner wheels on all four corners, so the case glides beside you upright or tilts and rolls on two.
Five: Rock Gray, Blue, Yellow, Red and Smoke White, in both sizes and in the Travel Set. A colour that is temporarily sold out shows as unavailable on the product page. See the colours.
Sizes and the Travel Set
Choosing between the 20" and 24", or taking both.
The 20" carry-on (A$319) suits weekends, short city breaks and overhead-locker travel: 49 × 35 × 22.5 cm, 3.4 kg empty, 39 litres. The 24" check-in (A$385) is for a week or more away, with room to bring things home: 61 × 42.5 × 25.5 cm, 4.4 kg empty, 65 litres.
It is sized for the overhead locker on Australian domestic and most international flights. Airlines set their own limits, so check yours before a long-haul trip.
Yes. The 20" measures 49 cm high × 35 cm wide × 22.5 cm deep, which sits inside Qantas’s standard cabin-bag limit of 56 × 36 × 23 cm, so it fits the overhead locker on Qantas flights. It weighs 3.4 kg empty and holds 39 litres, which leaves 3.6 kg of a typical 7 kg cabin allowance for your things. Qantas sets its own cabin-bag weight limit that can differ by fare and aircraft, so check your allowance on the Qantas website before you fly and pack within it.
One 20" carry-on and one 24" check-in in the same colour for A$649, instead of A$704 bought separately, a saving of A$55. Shop the Travel Set.
Yes. The 20" carry-on fits inside the 24" check-in, so the pair stores as one case at home.
